DSI Advisory Services exists to give decision-makers analysis they can trust because it answers to no one but the reader. That independence is the product, so it is stated plainly.
No opinion is for sale
I am not paid by any company, government, or sponsor for any assessment published here or spoken in any forum. No entity buys coverage, placement, or a favourable read.
Advisory is walled off from analysis
Advisory and commissioned clients purchase work done for them; they do not purchase the conclusions of published intelligence. What is written in public is not shaped by who pays privately.
No hidden interests
I do not hold positions in the specific entities I assess in a way that could bias the work, and any material interest is disclosed where it is relevant.
Sources are protected
I do not publish the identity or contact details of a source without their explicit consent — including the practitioners and insiders who make this work possible.
Assessments are labelled as such
Analytic judgments are distinguished from established fact, and confidence is stated rather than implied. Primary documents and open sources are used and, where it matters, cited.
AI assists production; humans own judgment
Modern tooling accelerates research and drafting. The analysis, the judgments, and the responsibility for them are mine.
Errors are corrected in the open
I will make mistakes; when I do, I correct them quickly and visibly, and adjust so the same one does not recur.
